津軽三味線、篠笛、亊の三刀流プレイヤーの大谷加奈子と、和太鼓の坂上享。
そこにコンポーザーでありピアニストでもある元岡衛が色を添えた今回の作品は、名曲「桜吹雪」から津軽三味線と和太鼓の掛け合いが秀逸な「獅子燃ゆる」まで、和に特化した音楽になっており、5曲の中に様々な日本の風景が浮かび上がる様な唯一無二の世界観に仕上がっています。

The 1st EP, contains 5 songs is released by Japanese-Western fusion trio “TAGA.” (digital distribution only) In addition to multi-instrumentalist, Kanako Otani who plays Tsugaru shamisen, shinobue, and koto, and Japanese taiko drummer Akira Sakaue, composer and pianist Mamoru Motooka adds beautiful color to this work. These music are uniquely Japanese, such as the famous song “Sakurafubuki” and the excellent chase of Tsugaru shamisen and Japanese drums “Shishi-Moyuru”. Each song is a one-of-a-kind piece that makes you imagine various beautiful landscapes of Japan.
